West Virginia Commissioner of Agriculture Kent Leonhardt stopped by Sherrard Middle School yesterday as part of his two-day tour of the northern panhandle.  Sherrard students are working on cutting edge projects in the world of agriculture including watering seedlings from the bottom up and starting an apple orchard.

Leonhardt also visited Cameron High School on Tuesday for a tour of the meat processing lab and the school’s greenhouse.  The FFA members served him lunch.
