CHS CTE Student of the Quarter

Katelynn VanTassell holds her CTE Student of the Month plaque.

The Career & Technical Education Student of the Quarter at Cameron High School is senior Katelynn VanTassell. She is a student in the Business/Management and Administration Support program.

Katelynn is currently involved with the school’s Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) student organization along with being a member of the volleyball and basketball teams.

She enjoys babysitting, spending time with family and friends and shopping.

“My CTE classes have helped me gain real-life work skills,” Katelynn explained. “I have learned time management, communication, professionalism, budgeting and workplace ethics in addition to earning Microsoft certifications.”

Katelynn wants to become a daycare provider or a teacher’s aide. She is the daughter of Aaron and Mary VanTassell.
